Special high heat-resistant acrylic resin KURALPHA™ MX grade

KURALPHA™ MX grades are special high heat-resistant acrylic resins manufactured using Kuraray's proprietary polymer synthesis technology. It has a higher heat resistance temperature than general-purpose PMMA, yet it is characterized by its high flowability and ease of molding. It can also be used in modification applications for transparent ABS resins to improve heat resistance temperature while maintaining transparency.

Combines high heat resistance temperature and flowability

KURALPHA™ MX grades have a higher heat resistance temperature than general-purpose PMMA (Tg 122°C), yet have high flowability (MFR: 6) and are easy to injection-mold.

Transparent ABS with high heat resistance

KURALPHA™ MX grades can also be used for modifying transparent ABS. Compounding KURALPHA™ MX grades into transparent ABS maintains transparency and coloration, and improves heat resistance temperatures to make transparent ABS with HDT of 80°C or higher.
