Modifiers - Applications and Use Cases

The following modification effects can be obtained by adding PARAPET™ SA grade to TPU.
 

・Improved molding stability during melt processing (prevents drawdown)
・Expanded process window for processing temperature
・Matte, imparting a light touch

Compounding transparent ABS with KURALPHA™ MX grade improves heat resistance temperature and surface hardness while maintaining the transparency and coloration of transparent ABS. Since HDT exceeds 80°C after compounding, it can be used for automotive interior applications, which has been difficult with conventional transparent ABS.
